Year 3 2014 Season 4 - Denmark - Lofoten - West Coast Norway - Edinburgh to Dover - Hamble

Before commencing our true sailing season for 2014 we took a short run south to Flensburg Germany. After a scheduled return to the factory in Hadeslev we began the run north from Denmark to Trondheim Norway where we were joined by Aussie friends Darb and Nell. From Trondheim the adventure truly began as we continued onto Lofoten crossing the Arctic Circle. Sailing to just on 70 degrees north it was time to turn south and head back to Stavanger from where we crossed to Scotland once the weather became agreeable.
The run down the east cost of the United Kingdom proved challenging with its tides so it was a welcome relief once we turned the corner of Dover with the winter home of Hamble relatively in site.
